1st Annual PJ Reading Romp

On November 9, Barwell students, parents, and teachers all came to school dressed in their PJs, robes, and slippers! The event was held to provide parents with some useful ways they could help their students with reading at home and to get students excited about reading!

The evening started off with an overview of reading components and strategies. Some parents and students then chose a break-out session to attend, while others visited the bookmobile or signed up for a library card, or and others went to swap a book. This event was well-attended! Parents and students alike were buzzing about reading!
