All About Me

Please read on to learn a little more about me.

I am a native of New York, New York, and I moved to Raleigh with my parents at an early age.  After I completed 2nd grade, my family decided to move back North.  Since that time, I lived in a small city called Reading, PA, and I received my Bachelors Degree in the Science of Education at Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA (about 20 minutes outside of Reading).  I always knew that I would return to Raleigh someday, and I did just that in January of 1994 after completing my degree.  I began teaching at Fred A. Olds University Connections Magnet Elementary in August of 1994 and remained there until June of 1995.  While at Olds I taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade and Kindergarten.  I am currently teaching Kindergarten at Barwell Road Elementary.  Please feel free to contact me at 661-5405 or rlockhart@wcpss.net.
