Visitors are always welcome at Barwell Road Elementary! Wake County Public Schools guidelines require that all visitors sign in at the office and receive a visitor's badge that must be worn until you sign out. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Checking Out Procedures:
If you are checking your child out of school for any reason, a photo ID is needed. This is for your child's protection, and yours.

If you do need to check your child out of school, we ask that you do this no later than 3:15 p.m. (2:45 p.m. on Wednesdays). Your child will be asked to come to the office after your arrive. Students may not be checked out between 3:15 and 3:45 unless for an appointment. A doctor's or dentist's note is expected for attendance purposes.

Transportation Changes:
If your child will be going home a different way than normal please call the school before 3:15, 2:15 on Wednesdays, and let the office staff know. For example: if your child is normally carpool but you need them to ride the bus home one day call the school and let the front office staff know.

Bell Schedule (Mon., Tues., Thurs. and Fri.): 9:05 - 3:45
Students may begin arriving at 8:45, but should not arrive earlier unless enrolled in the early arrivals program.

Bell Schedule (Wednesdays): 9:05 - 2:45 Students will be dismissed an hour early for staff Professional Learning Teams to collaborate. Please let your child's teacher know if you are using a different mode of transportation than your child normally uses.
